How to get your TDLR practical exam kit ready

List of things needed for lash practical exam:

[ ] Plastic box with attached lid and handle 9x9 labeled PRE SANITIZED
[ ] 1st bag labeled PRE-SANITIZED SET UP AND DISINFECTION
[ ] Paper towels in a smaller ziplock bag
[ ] BIG Trash bag labeled TRASH BAG
[ ] Hand sanitizer labeled or pre labeled by manufacturer
[ ] Heavy duty tape with easy serrated tear
[ ] Spray bottle labeled EPA DISINFECTANT no need for barbicide. Water is good enough.
All of these things go in the big ziplock bag and then in the container

[ ] 2nd bag not labeled
[ ] Clean doll head with no stickiness at all prepped with eyelashes already on the lids and the bag doesn’t need to close all the way. If using strip lashes DO NOT TAKE THE LASHES TO THE EXAM attach them prior to testing

We can use the removable eyelids as well.

[ ] 3rd bag labeled EYELASH EXTENSION APPLICATION SERVICE
[ ] 1 Towel to cover station
[ ] A second towel or head band to cover the forehead of the doll head
[ ] Glue rings or jade stone in a ziplock bag not to be labeled!!
[ ] 1 small ziplock bag labeled PRE SANITIZED INSTRUMENTS with 4 pair of tweezers and a small pair or scissors.
[ ] Gel pads they don’t have to be labeled. Take 2-3
[ ] Adhesive and must be labeled ADHESIVE. Take off the manufacturer label before hand to make sure it’s very clear what it is.
[ ] Ziplock bag with more paper towels
[ ] Eye makeup remover or cleansing wipes labeled by the manufacturer. You won’t have to perform a lash bath service but we need to bring these to prove that we know we have to cleanse before hand
[ ] 1 tray of lashes and 1 tile
All of the above must fit in the bigger ziplock bag. Make it tidy looking.

[ ] 4th ziplock bag labeled BLOOD EXPOSURE INCIDENT SERVICE
[ ] Ziplock bag labeled BLOOD EXPOSURE KIT including band aids, gauze and alcohol pads
[ ] Gloves in a ziplock bag not to be labeled!! Bring enough gloves
[ ] Big ziplock bag labeled BIOHAZARD with the actual symbol taped to the bag and it most be doubled bagged
All of the above items need to fit in the 4th bag.

Remember that when you are done everything has to go in the trash bag from the first ziplock bag and fit perfectly inside the plastic container.
