Disney world Studio Backlot Tour filmed at MGM Studios now Hollywood Studios, Disney World, Florida in June 1993.
The Studios Backlot tour was themed on a tour of a working film studio and featured a on foot and tram tour of the back stages and studios of the the park. It was originally Disney's MGM Studios Park Premier Attraction.
It included the Honey I shrunk the Kids special effects studio, Honey I shrunk the kids play area, Vehicles and Houses used in the making of Disney and MGM Movies. Walt Disney's Plane and many other movie props and vehicles were on display as you viewed them on foot and on the Disney tram tour. Special attractions were during the tour included Catastrophe Canyon and a water tank special effects scene.
This attraction opened with the park on 1st May 1989 and closed permanently on 27th September 2014. The area is now the Toy Story land at Disney Hollywood Studios.
The film has been Converted to digital from our old VHS tapes
