Jack's wish to be a REAL Nebraska Cornhusker Football Player | Make-A-Wish Nebraska

Recently, 8-year-old Jack became the newest member of the Nebraska Cornhusker Football team. Jack’s wish was to be a real Nebraska Cornhusker Football Player.

Jack’s wish began on November 15th at his school where he signed his official Letter of Intent to play for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Jack’s wish continued on Thursday and Friday at UNL with facility tours, meet-n-greet with coaches and players, lunch at the training table, participating in team drills and practicing his touchdown dances with his new teammates.

On the big day, Saturday, November 19th, Jack joined his fellow teammates for the Husker Unity Walk, and pregame activities as they prepared for the Maryland game. He then led his team out as part of the Tunnel Walk in front of 90,000+ screaming fans. After Jack's grand entrance he enjoyed the game from a special Skybox where all his favorite tail-gating snacks were waiting for him.
