Slender Fortress - Mansion Revamp [Playtest & Release of a New Map] [Modern Roots Part 2a Update]

Heyo Everyone!
After a long awaited time, we have arrived to the second part of the Modern Roots update! which I'm splitting into two mini-parts due to how drastically different are the showcases. So for the first and biggest part, of part 2, we have a long awaited revamp!

The old map of Mansion, originally done by Signalmax that later got updated by Glubbable. Has been fully, heavily revamped by Joako! Starting from versions B4 we are likely bound to get in the future a few more updates, since BLU Zone is not fully finished in terms of the original idea Joako had planned to do, but RED Zone is pretty much finished and ready to play now!

Mansion Revamp is considered a new type of map, a Puzzle Map, while there's the usual collect an objective, with the exit being extended to a zone you can only access on escape time, there's an extra mechanic added to the map to be able to escape! If I recall, in the future it is sorta planned to have more secrets around the area to unlock/find out.

The map has overall also increased in size a lot, only keeping few spots the same as the original design, but there's a ton of changes, new rooms, old rooms being modified to have a different purpose for a mansion, instead of being library number 4. Also removing pretty much all dead ends, as you'll be able to even escape one entrance rooms from the boss without getting stuck! Pages has been replaced by Books, you now need to find 10 books! Upon collecting all of them, something in spawn will change, which you'll have to interact with it, wait and the exit zone will open! After a long way down, you'll have to split the team in two, to do the right action to allow everyone to escape in this last zone!

All of these recordings except for the last 7 clips, were recorded while doing many many playtests in the server, making sure it was fully okay to be released, I made sure to separate the timestamps within versions, so you may notice a couple of the changes! The map as of today, the release of this video too, is now available in Shintö Shrine! It can be voted any time, but for now, you required 5 players in the server for it to appear!

This has been an overall huge improvement over the old gameplay of the old mansion, it's been lots of fun to play in this map, even it might be a challenge to try it with less people as the timer might be tight! but it seens doable. I really like how every other room has been modified, how more lively it feels, it feels like is an actual mansion where there are different types of rooms! There's some secret paths that one can easily discover and get to places, and overall is a lot more dynamic to mess around with bosses in this map, so there's bigger chances to survive! It's been great fun and well see you in the Part 2b, it will be a smaller video, but that should be all of Part 2!
