Top 10 Most Valuable Country/Western Records

Country Music doesn't get a lot of love in the vinyl community so I thought I'd make one video that clarifies the approximate value of the most desirable records. This is a list of some of the most valuable Country/Western Records in 2025 excluding Taylor Swift. There is also the infamous Cousin Herb Hanson & his Trading Post Gang record but I've honestly never seen evidence of it selling at more than $100, despite it's curiosity. Another record I didn't include is the 1996 12 Country Greats by Ween which does fetch $125-150 for one of the original 1996 pressings on Flying Nun Records. One of the American Recordings of Johnny Cash (Rick Rubin prod) that was pressed in 2003 can also fetch $125-150. The rest of Johnny Cash's catalogue doesn't really sell for much money, even in his early Sun Records because they were heavily circulated.

The bulk of the records feaurted here most serious collectors of Vinyl will be familiar with. Other Country records that are currently rising in value (slightly) are the early George Strait and Alan Jackson records as well as most John Hartford records. None of them fetch over $100... yet.
