An unknown person has been shot and killed during a protest at the Walter Sisulu University in Mthatha in the Eastern Cape. Two others were injured and rushed to hospital.
Aggrieved students were reportedly protesting over poor conditions at their residences on the campus, when they were shot at. Management says protests were about living rules at the residence.
