Bolted Connections – Lesson 4, Part 2

In this video, you will learn how to model bolts in Ansys Discovery using two different methods: idealized bolt elements and hinged connections. These methods allow you to simulate the actual behavior of bolts in your design, such as pre-loading, tension, and shear. You will see how to set up the bolt properties, apply the loads and constraints, and solve the model. By the end of this video, you will be able to create more accurate and efficient simulations of bolted assemblies in Ansys Discovery.
