ITVs The London Studios had been its key London base for the channel for over 50 years. Originally opened as London Weekend Television, the studio was home to some of the UK's top TV shows. Blind Date, Game For A Laugh, On The Buses, The Graham Norton Show and It'll Be Alright on The Night to name but a few. But now like so many other TV Studios across the UK it was no longer needed and will be replaced by yet more luxury flats.
Former LWT, ITV and BBC Producer/Director Jamie Langton popped along to take one last look, at yet another iconic TV hub being torn down.
