Today we’re flying on an airline that died and suddenly came back to life! Mexicana was an airline that once lead the Mexican aviation scene and was was a backbone to the tourism scene. In August of 2010 they ran into some trouble and filed for Bankruptcy Protection in attempts to save themselves, but eventually ceased operations. Four years later, they were officially declared bankrupt. Recently, in 2023, they relaunched as a standard Ultra Low Cost Carrier and operates with a smaller Inter Mexico network.
What are they like now as a no frills Ultra Low Cost Carrier?
As mentioned, I paid 112.74 USD (2,197.39 MXN) for all add ons for total for both these flights.
