Hey sailors,
Typically, when you book a balcony cabin on a cruise, you look forward to breathtaking views of the ocean and the ports you’ll visit. However, that wasn’t the case on my recent cruise. I stayed in a 'neighbourhood balcony cabin,' which, while it did have a balcony, didn’t offer any direct view of the ocean.
I was concerned about a few things before the trip: Would it be noisy? Would there be any privacy? And how would it feel cruising solo on a ship designed with families in mind? Unfortunately, all my worries turned out to be true. Let me know what you think.
