The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows:
A strong surface high will bring windy and rainy conditions to the southern coast of South Africa today, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected across central and north-eastern South Africa. The South African Weather Service has issued several impact-based warnings, including a Yellow Level 4 for severe thunderstorms and flooding in western and southern KwaZulu-Natal Province, a Yellow Level 2 for storms in parts of Limpopo, Free State, and the Eastern Cape, and a Yellow Level 1 for damaging winds along the coast between Table Bay and Plettenberg Bay. Additionally, extremely high fire danger warnings are in place for the Northern Cape Province.
