Park off of Main 3 and follow the carriage road to the Bald Peak trail and follow to the top of Bald Peak. Continue on the Bald Peak trail to the junction with Parkman Mountain trail, turn right and follow to the top of Parkman. Take the Grandgent trail to the top of Gilmore Peak the continue to the top of Sargent Mountain. Follow the Sargent mountain south ridge trail to the Penobscot Mountain trail, take a left and follow to the top of Penobscot Mountain return back to the Sargent mountain south ridge trail, take a left and follow to the top of Cedar Swamp Mountain. Return back to the junction with the Amphitheater trail, take a left and follow to the Hadlock Brook trail, take a left and follow to the carriage road and follow that back to parking.
