3 Preludes are some of the short-lived Russian composer Alexei Stanchinsky’s earliest compositions. Already, Stanchinsky’s own voice has been planted in this work. It will eventually outgrow and outshine the prevalent Middle Scriabinesque style in such initial pieces from Stanchinsky.
