Just showing what the Cub Cadet XT2 SLX54 can do in snow if you are able to find a snowblower attachment ( 19A40024100, 19A40024OEM) . Goes through everything I have thrown at it including slush as long as you don't let it clog the chute.
I was able to find mine on facebook marketplace last minute as these are obviously not being carried or made right now by dealers. If you are able to find one, I think they are great. This isn't a crazy test but shows what it can do in 8" of medium heavy wet snow. I am glad I went with the SLX54 as it has a slightly bigger engine than the standard xt2. If you skip around you can see what it does to hard packed snow banks near the mail boxes.
I have 3 - 40lb Iron suitcase weights and 1 - 60lb weight on the back
I also threw tire chains on the rear. The chains make a big difference for sure and I am glad for the extra weight on inclines as well.
