I doubted making an arrangement of this track for a while, but the melody stayed in my head so I decided to officially work on it. I decided to extend the middle part cause it felt a bit empty on the piano alone. I enjoyed the film, it was sweet and the animation was very beautiful. I might make some people angry by saying this, but I do still wish that John Powell composed the score, but I guess he was too busy with Wicked. Not that Kris Bowers did a bad job here, but listening to the music alone doesn’t tell a story for me, it works best with the image. While you can listen to a John Powell score on it’s own and feel the journey. Anyways I’m still happy we are getting a beautiful animated movie like this that’s different then the unoriginal sequels from Disney. If you like animation I would totally recommend the movie Flow. It felt in my opinion way more emotional then The Wild Robot while having no dialogues.
