Ken Barrie & Bryan Daly's - Postman Pat (1982)

Ladies and Gentlemen, This week we lost Ken Barrie, narrator of Postman Pat. He was 83. RIP.
A fine talent and one worth honoring over here at Schlargnoise.
So, we've dug out another tape from the attic, a very old one. We have alot of weird old tapes.
You know your tape is in trouble when your player refuses to rewind the bastard. Or play it.
After spooling the whole thing with a pen (from the beginning of side b), my cassette player finally squeaked and creaked with resentment as it spewed forth the disturbing warped sounds of Bryan Daly's 1982 musical - 'Postman Pat'.
It should be noted that i have not altered ANY of the sounds in this video. Perhaps i recorded Side A a bit louder than Side B.
I am not aware of a cd release for this album. There is a vinyl on ebay.
Bryan Daly who composed all of the music on this release, died in january 2012.
The titles/info and everything are shown throughout the video.
Quite frankly, "Walking in Greendale"(07:33) is the scariest song you're ever going to hear.
