Emperor Haile Selassie of Abyssinia walks with various tribes people who dance and jump. Shots Ethiopians herding cattle. People carrying bundles of straw / hay - it looks like a harvest.



Troops and followers arrive for parade. Primitive looking mix of rifles and shields and spears. Horsemen ride past for inspection. People are watching the parade as they sit on a hillside. Shots of soldiers in traditional costumes with swords. More traditionally dressed troops in uniform. CU of soldier. More views of troops parading and showing strength. Dark shots of Haile Selassie under cover watching the parade. Various pith helmet wearing dignitaries are also gathered.
