Day 592 - Outlaws v NADS; Playoffs Round One

Welcome back to Playoff Hockey with the Outlaws!

The Outlaws went into these playoffs in second place, so we had to play the first round against NADS. I was at the ‪@WeekendWarriorHockey‬ camp this weekend learning & trying to level up my game, but there was absolutely no way that I was going to miss the team's first playoff game. I drove home after the first afternoon classroom session and took a nap before our game. It was a pretty exhausting Friday. Two hours of on-ice training in the morning, a class room session going over strategy and technique, three hours of driving home, then our playoff game against an awesome team. I left my house at 4a.m. the next morning to drive back to camp so I could participate in the Saturday morning skate. It was definitely one of the most fun but physically challenging weekends of the year!

I was still super tired going into this game despite the nap, but the team absolutely crushed it. It was a fast-paced game with a lot of exciting moments. This win means we move on to the Finals!
