Is your mic not working with your camera? Here is one simple reason. You need a TRRS to TRS converter. A camera takes a microphone with a TRS connector, not a TRRS connector. This is overlooked and gives many headaches. Microphones with TRRS connectors are meant for phones. Most will work with your camera if converted to TRS.
