IFIR - MINIMAL - MUSICOS BALI x DELICOTECH

Always good times with our friend DJ IFIR from Russia

IFIR is the founder of the ‪@delicotech‬ brand — a series of minimal and underground house music events based in Bali.
DELICOTECH is known for its stripped-down aesthetic, uniting DJs who share the same sonic vision through curated showcases and parties.

This mix is a special vinyl-only showcase recorded for MUSICOS Bali.

In 2024, I traveled to Armenia, Georgia, and Thailand.
Each city had its own unique atmosphere — and some legendary vinyl gems. I didn’t play all of them, but they definitely added something special to my bag.

The most memorable shop I visited was in Tbilisi. It was owned by a Russian guy from St. Petersburg — the founder of the legendary vinyl and DJ store BAZA, right in the city center. Life’s full of coincidences: I used to visit BAZA back when I moved to St. Petersburg in 2010–2011. At that time, vinyl DJs felt like stars to me. I’d drop by the shop every month just to check out new gear and try on headphones.

For this mix, I tried to weave all those memories into a story — from dark minimal and dry textures to groovy house and that hazy morning-after vibe.
Not perfect, but alive. 😉
