When God answers our prayers, most of us simply move on with our lives without expressing gratitude. The story of ten lepers healed by Jesus illustrates this perfectly - nine continued on their way, but one Samaritan turned back to thank Jesus. This man received not just physical healing but spiritual restoration because he recognized both the gift and the Giver. Gratitude isn't just good manners; it's a posture of faith that transforms us from the inside out. Those who have experienced exclusion or hardship often understand grace better because they recognize it as an undeserved gift. True gratitude moves beyond words to action, showing appreciation through service to others and living our entire lives in thanksgiving.
