A last minute December solo dash to the desert ended up being one of the most enjoyable 24 hour periods I've ever spent on my bike. I started White Rim late in the day, saw the sun go down, rode into the night, camped, woke up with the place all to myself, and enjoyed a leisurely and beautiful second half of the ride the next day.
