I'm sure this time around, you guys DO know the name. It's Burp!, y'alls favorite Pennsylvanian punk band that can totally beat up your dad's punk band. These mutant punk freaqs absolutely killed it with their past demo and "We Out Here" release, so I'm sure you can imagine that I was damn-psyched to get an email lettin' me know they've put out another tape. This time, it's the Doldrums EP, and boy, is it REALLY somethin' else. The tapes still got the raw intensity and slapdash goodness of the previous too, but this time, the sounds are considerably more refined and deliberate; I really really dig it. The tunes are layered on this sum-bitch real thick and makes for a dirty feast for your earholes, still retaining a good chunk of that mutantness that mighta swooned you goonies over in the first place. Plus, Clockin' Out's just too damn good of a track to miss out on; that shit'll be an anthem for many of you, I'm sure. That little guitar ditty, hell yeah dude. All n' all, it's a damn fine release from some damn fine snot-filled miscreants. Get it.
