Join me for a full walkthrough and sea trial of Four Seasons—a €1.39M North Sea explorer yacht with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. This is the No Limit 1550, built in the Netherlands by No Limit Ships, a yard with serious commercial and rescue vessel heritage.
Based on a Dutch KNRM search and rescue boat, Four Seasons is designed for real offshore work. She’s powered by twin Volvo Penta D9 engines (575 hp each), has a cruising speed of 8–9 knots, and a theoretical range of around 1,200 nautical miles on her standard 3,000-litre fuel tanks.
But this particular boat has gone far beyond that—logging over 11,000 nautical miles and crossing the Atlantic TWICE. Her journey has taken her from Europe to Iceland, Greenland, Newfoundland, the east coast of America, down to the Bahamas, then Bermuda, and back across the Atlantic to Europe.
In this video, I discuss her layout, machinery, engine room, systems and what makes her a serious contender for anyone looking at long-range steel explorer yachts.
If you’re into steel trawler yachts, commercial-grade builds, or offshore cruising platforms, this is one to watch.
