Chicken Tikka Masala - Britain's Favourite Curry @Chicken Recipes

It's often said that Chicken Tikka Masala is the most popular curry in Indian restaurants and takeaways in Britain. Chicken Tikka Masala is a mild curry, with a tomato and cream sauce. The chunks of chicken are marinaded and seared in a tandoor before being added to the curry. Chicken Tikka Masala is quite simple to make, and totally delicious.

There's a story about the origins of CTM - it's said that chef Ali Ahmed Aslam, owner of the Shish Mahal restaurant in Glasgow invented it in 1971.
