This tip is inspired by DJ Premier's production of "The Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers" performed by the 2nd version of Crooklyn Dodgers back in 1995.

I demonstrate this DJ Premier type beat on my mpc 2000xl. This dj premier tutorial simply explains two different rhythm patterns going on at the same time. The drums do one, while the sample does another. Preemo did not do this exact technique but it's inspired from the beat he produced.
