You Got Chaos on my Island | Shadow Generations #9 [Switch]

The Frontiers call to us as we make our way to Chaos Island! How would Shadow do in the Sonic Frontiers situation?

To specify, this is the Switch version of the game being played on the Switch 2. If they had released an upgrade path to the Switch 2 version I would've purchased it. But I said "screw that" to buying the game again. So here we are.

In Shadow Generations, during the events of Sonic Generations, Shadow is exploring the Space Colony Ark. Because of the Time Eater disrupting everything, Shadow starts experiencing weird phenomena which brings back Black Doom. Shadow appears in a solid white area called White Space which is devoid of color. He must go through past and future stages (at the point of time the game takes place) to find out what Black Doom is planning and to get out of White Space.

Sonic Generations was a game made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the series spanning from the original debut game to the last game that came out before this one, Sonic Colors. It originally came out in 2011. This version, Sonic X Shadow Generations, came out in 2024 which includes this game and a new campaign for Shadow known as Shadow Generations. I'll be playing the latter.
