This tiny lute-tune is from the booklet :Gitarrenspiel alter Meister, Vol.1 leicht. Edited by Hubert Zanoskar, London 1955.
The lute-piece is marked: leicht (easy), but I personally don't find any guitar piece easy. Easy to read ok, but certanly not easy to play.
The challange is to get the 6 strings moving in a way someone stop to listen.
Study the painting, listen to it's own sounds, enjoy the smell of the warm, delicious bread and create a link 430 years back to 1590. The question:
"Was wolln wir auf den Abend tun?" ( What do we do to night? seems to be eternal.
Treat all tese small lute/guitar with respect.
