In this second episode, Andy and Dave explore an area of farmland at Slapton – England. This stunning rural location was used as a pre - DDay Battle Training Area for U.S. soldiers who would go on to land at Utah and Omaha beaches in June 1944. Tragic stories of U.S. soldiers becoming casualties of Allied naval bombardments are documented by combining archive footage and photographs, with present day filming and narration.
