Don’t overthink, record something quick and move on to the next idea.

Keep your loops simple so you don’t get stuck tweaking one section forever.

Build vertically, scene by scene, instead of piling up endless new tracks.

Rename clips and scenes (Cmd + R) to stay organized while jamming.

Duplicate a scene, tweak one or two things, and let it evolve naturally.

Add small variations in percussion to keep the groove human.

Record long ideas directly into Arrangement View to get structure early.

Use markers for “Intro,” “Build,” and “Drop” to visualize the whole song.

Don’t chase perfection; finish more tracks by keeping momentum.
