An interesting and rare film by "Rootes Group Films" covering the early history of the marque, with examples of cars found at the National Motor Museum, Beaulieu. Singers, Humbers, Hillmans and Sunbeam cars all came under the Rootes Group collective at the time this film was made. It is a little hard to date. There is talk of the opening of new buildings in 1959...but events appear to follow. I think the contemporary cars on the road which appear in the footage suggest the early 1960s...1964 is my guess. Unfortunately the film titles do not give a date.
