What can have a ton of character, but isn’t a character at all? A character on it’s own is nice, and usually as character designers, our focus. But the context we set these characters in can add so much feeling and story. The problem is, backgrounds are pretty popularly thought of as hard. So how can we ease ourselves in to making better environments?
