BIG MOUNTAIN MISSION! COMODOTO PEAK 2356m 🇪🇸

We set off for a mission to summit Comodoto Peak and ride the fun trail all the way back down! A huge shift on the pedals to get straight up to +2000m then a gruelling 1hr hike-a-bike to get to the very top.

We decided to go to the summit, as why the hell wouldn't you want to summit, but equally the first part of the trail from the summit is pretty gnarly steep and loose, (we ended up walking some of it).

Amazing high mountain trail for the top section and then you reach the most incredible stuff in the tree line! wow! We had such a sick time and we would actually head up to ride the lower half again actually!

Notes about the route:
Climbed up to Espierba on the road then joined the 10km gravel road (Comodoto Espierba-La Estiva).
Few water stops along the way- we took only 1.3L each and kept filling them up.
After the Refugio and plateau, its about 1hr hike-a-bike, be sure to keep an eye on the trail and direction as some animal paths lead off.
Then the descent we started on (trail forks names) Superior Comodoto, into Llanos del Due, Sarratillons (where the loam begins!), first part of Las Costadieras, then final incredible part was Cazadores (a must ride!).
