Philippine Surf Discovery Tour: Episode 5 - Exploring Samar Island

After 46 days on the road, we’ve made it to Samar Island, a place full of untapped potential and powerful waves! This leg of the journey took us across Northern and Eastern Samar, where every spot brought something unique—beach breaks, reef breaks, and incredible local surf communities.

🏄‍♂️ Highlights of Episode 5:

● Visiting various surf spots, each one surfable with perfect conditions except for one stop where strong winds and small waves kept us out
● Giving two surfboards to upcoming grommets in Northern and Eastern Samar, including one for a local surfer who previously only had a skimboard—now with his very first surfboard!
● Surfing alongside the local crew, connecting with the vibrant surf culture across Samar.

Surfing started here in the late 90s, and it's amazing to see how far the community has come. This journey through Samar’s surf scene has been unforgettable, and we’re grateful to all the locals who made it special.
