Online: Use the City’s secure online portal (fastest method)
By Phone: Call 311 or 416-392-2489 (for occupied properties only)
In Person: Visit designated City service locations

7. Check Your Property’s Status
Use the Property Tax Lookup tool and scroll to the Vacant Home Tax section.

8. No Declaration Required If Property Is:
Newly constructed and not yet assessed by MPAC
Fully assessed as multi-residential, commercial, or industrial
Classified as vacant land, parking space, or condo locker
