Perhaps you aren't familiar with the other legend that's said to be buried in the Old Dutch Church Burying Grounds. The "Witch" of Sleepy Hollow's gravestone reads: "Hulda of Bohemia. Died c 1777. Herbalist, Healer, Patriot. Felled by the British while protecting the Militia. Buried here in gratitude for her sacrifice."
