The Seaman First Class Billy Turner veterans cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma, is now my husband's final resting place. This Veterans Cemetery spans 12 acres and was awarded a grant of $7,355,463 to establish the State Cemetery in Ardmore, Oklahoma. It was established in 2022, and Seaman First Class Billy Turner became the first veteran buried in the new cemetery.

My husband served in the USAF, and his military service and honors allowed his final resting place to be located at this beautiful Cemetery. We are proud of his service to our country and proud that he has such a beautiful and safe resting place here in our town. He passed away on May 14, 2025. He is greatly missed.
