A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent shot a Venezuelan migrant in north Minneapolis during an enforcement operation, sparking fresh tensions and protests. Federal officials say the man fled a traffic stop and resisted arrest, allegedly attacking the officer and others with a shovel and broom handle, prompting the agent to fire in self‑defense and wound him in the leg.
