HOW TO FIX ATLASSIAN BITBUCKET SSH HOST KEYS

In this video, I will show you how to fix the issue with the Atlassian Bitbucket SSH Host Keys. I received the email with the subject heading Notice: Bitbucket Cloud SSH host key rotation complete this morning about the SSH Host Key rotation which mean I needed to fix this before I could pull/push from Bitbucket.

The email contained the following:

Hello Bitbucket Cloud users,
As announced previously, we rotated Bitbucket Cloud's RSA SSH host key today, June 20, 2023, at 1700 UTC.
If you did not transition your SSH clients to use ECDSA or Ed25519 SSH keys and are experiencing broken connections to bitbucket.org, please follow the instructions here.

The unix commands used in the video are:

ssh git@bitbucket.org host_key_info
ssh-keygen -R bitbucket.org && curl https://bitbucket.org/site/ssh [angled brackets x2] ~/.ssh/known_hosts

In order to fix this issue, you have to follow the instruction in the email and make the relevant SSH key changes.
