With lots of snow in the forecast for most trails, I found this one at a lower elevation that boasted fantastic views at the campsites around the lake. Pete Lake is very popular in the summer, but should not be missed in the shoulder seasons, when you'll likely have more space to spread out and will have warmer conditions than the trails at higher elevations.
