Good Sunday evening everyone! (and for all others reading this NOT on Sunday day, Good Day still! :P) So here's a little curve ball that I bet y'all didn't expect out of ShowTunes Summer. I've always been a pretty big fan of Green Day so when I heard that their Broadway play, American Idiot, was coming to town, I HAD to check it out. After seeing it, I felt inspired to make a mash-up cover loosely based off the story of the play. I'm still not entirely sure how this video will be received, considering the subject matter of the material and the sheer length of this cover. I've also never done any "acting" of this sort, so bare with me if I'm hamming it up a bit too much. Feel free to let me know below! I do not shy away from criticism :)
I expect this video to be largely discussed in the comments section, and on the new forums page @ my website. I also intend to write a blog piece on my website explaining why I chose to cover this song. Stay tuned for that! There's a lot more to the creation of this video then it seems~

Hello again everyone!!! I...am...so...EXCITED!!! AHHHHH! Tis the Summer once more and the sun is shining down on all of us :) (at least, for those of us here in the U.S. :3) I hope you are all ready for a dosage of brand new covers, because we got'em coming ALL. SUMMER. LONG! :D

That's right! Every week, there will be a NEW COVER to look forward too. From now until the end of Summer, tune in to see AT LEAST one new cover every seven days :) It's going to be an awesome Summer, and what better way to celebrate it than to do a series based off of one of my favorite loves, Showtunes~ That means everything ranging from old-school, musical theatre, to topical, modern Broadway hits will be up for possible cover-age ;) Want to know what I'm planning?
