My Soft Life! Solo Living in Panama 🇵🇦

Today I’m spending the day at Nico’s Beach Restaurant in Playa Farallón, Panama, enjoying good food, ocean views, and a slower pace of life. Nico’s is located in a local area surrounded by real people and everyday life, which makes the experience feel grounded and authentic.

I brought Coco, my rescue pup, along with me. This trip was part of getting her used to the sand, being around other people, and encountering beach dogs. She’s very clingy, which comes with being a rescue, so we’re both learning and adjusting together. Getting used to a new puppy isn’t easy, but moments like this remind me why patience and slowing down matter.

This day also gave me time to reflect on the benefits of living slower—being present, responding instead of rushing, and creating space for growth. I’ve realized I’ve been in the house too much, so moving forward I’ll be getting out at least twice a week, sharing my location, the real cost per day, and posting consistently twice a week as part of this journey.

Nico’s sits right by the ocean, with soft music playing in the background, fresh seafood on the table, and a calm, relaxed atmosphere. To the right, you’ll see the Decameron Resort, where I filmed a video last Christmas—two very different experiences right next to each other.

If you’re traveling from Panama City, you can easily get here by bus from Albrook Mall for about $3–$4 each way, with plenty of pickup stops along the route.

As I head back, I’ve got about a two-hour drive ahead, navigating Panama roads where staying alert is key—potholes, lane changes, and all.
