I unbox a TrueNAS Mini R which I am replacing a Dell R510 with to store media files, business files, offsite backups (using cloud sync), etc. I'm not using any virtualization or apps on this box, it is only for storage. I run a Proxmox cluster environment (@ProxmoxVE) for those things.
I've been using TrueNAS for many years and its time for a hardware refresh.
