Sainik School Admission Process:

The admission process for Sainik Schools begins with the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students can apply online through the official website within the specified dates. Eligibility criteria include age limits (for Class 6: 10-12 years, for Class 9: 13-15 years) and educational qualifications. The AISSEE exam tests students on Mathematics, Language, Intelligence, and General Knowledge. Based on the exam results, a merit list is prepared through e counseling, and shortlisted candidates are called for a medical examination. Final selection is based on overall performance and medical fitness, with reservations as per government norms.
