Paul Chaney visits Hot Seat circa summer 1986 to discuss allowing athletes to use drugs. In particular, they discuss Dodger pitcher Steve Howe, who was suspended for the 1984 season for drug use; Keith Hernandez, who won World Series titles, a batting title and other accolades with the Cardinals and Mets, in spite of his admitted cocaine use; and Len Bias, a highly-touted basketball player for the University of Maryland who died of a cocaine overdose in 1986 two days after being drafted by the Boston Celtics. Chaney had previously appeared on Hot Seat to promote anarchy.
