In this video I show you a very simple and easy method how to remove the original xtal oscillator from your ADALM PlutoSDR. This is usually the first step required for a TCXO modification. A TCXO will make the PlutoSDR suitable for narrow band modes. (original XO has too much drift). A "must do" modification for use on the NB transponder of QO-100 on the 2.4GHz uplink.
Sorry for the shaky hands. It was a bit of a challenge to take the video, watch the screen and solder at the same time. :-)
Please ensure the usual antistatic measures (unlike in the video) to prevent damaging any ESD sensitive devices.
