Chainsaw Man OP, Chainsaw Man description. For once this sort of thing is actually relevant!

I didn't like Denji at first. He gave me Mineta vibes, who I really don't like. He gets better near the end of the first season, but at least Makima and Power made the journey more tolerable. Though I almost gave up after episode 8 and only kept watching because I'd already finished so much of the season. Same deal as Jujutsu Kaisen's second season, actually. Except with 4 episodes to go instead of 9 or 10. Which means it got better faster. That is to say, it got better.

Oh, and throw that eyepatch girl scene in the trash. I guess that did fix Denji's attitude, but still...

Reze Arc is the first anime movie I saw in a theater since Pokémon 3. Quite the gap. It's also what I expected, and really shows how easy it is to manipulate Denji. I mean, Makima's been manipulating him from the beginning and she's definitely hiding something. At least he's not a total perv anymore. Also, wasn't a fan of Power being put on a bus early in the movie and not even making a return at the end.

Also also, the 3D effect being more advanced than a 3DS cutscene took a little while to get used to. Also also also, is the whole depth thing how Japanese 3D movies show off the effect? Quite a few shots looking into a garbage can or coffee cup. It's a sample size of 1 so I could be way off the mark and probably am.

Also also also also, not a fan of item shop FOMO applying to gameplay items. Now there's a terrifying concept. Why worry about the Gun Devil when you have the FOMO Devil!
