Come and join me as I experience this exhibition at The Royal Academy, London with works lent mainly from the Souls Grown Deep foundation in Atlanta Georgia. This exhibition showcases a huge range of works produced outside the American artistic mainstream, with artists often using salvaged materials to produce thought-provoking works. Artists such as Thornton Dial and Purvis Young, as well as members of the Quilt-makers of Gee's Bend,showcase works.
