This is a very distressed journal, originally created as flip through of an abandoned mansion, with artwork and walls that have been slowly worn by time. But Mom loved it and is keeping it, so now it's Mom's Grunge Journal. This uses a variety of scrapbook papers and book pages, with layers of brown tissue, sprays, inks and pastels to build up the textures. It was a lot of work - every piece got multiple passes until it was grungy enough, but it was sure worth it to see how much Mom appreciates it - Laura
