We filmed this scene of waves crashing ashore on the north side of Kauai in January 2023. With a high surf warning in effect, we hiked down a steep trail to get to this spot and boy was it worth it! As we stood on the beach and looked out to the angry seas, the waves looked absolutely massive. The video doesn't quite capture how big they looked in real life, but it was incredible to watch them crash into the distant rocks.
